The SHU Community Theatre is easily accessible along the I-95 corridor.
IMPORTANT: The theatre is NOT located on the Sacred Heart University campus. We are at 1420 Post Road at the corner of Post and Unquowa roads in downtown Fairfield. Look for the iconic neon marquee!
From the south/west: Take Exit 21 off I-95 northbound. Make a right onto Mill Plain Road. When you reach the light at Post Road (Route 1), take a left. The theatre is at the corner of Post and Unquowa roads.
From the north: Travel southbound on Route 8 to I-95 southbound. Take Exit 22 off I-95. Turn left onto North Benson Road, proceed under the railroad bridge and take a right on Post Road (Route 1). The theatre is at the corner of Post and Unquowa roads.
From the east: From the Merritt Parkway (Route 15), take Exit 44. Make a left on Congress Street. Take a left onto Burr Street, which becomes Mill Plain Road in about a mile. Take a left on Unquowa Road. The theatre is on the right at the corner of Unquowa and Post roads downtown.
From the west: Traveling north on the Merritt Parkway (Route 15), take exit 44. Turn right on Congress Street. Take a left on Burr Street, which turns into Mill Plain Road. Take a left on Unquowa Road. The theatre is on the right at the corner of Unquowa and Post roads downtown.
