Box office remains open after posted closing times on performance evenings until the end of the first intermission or thirty minutes after the start of performances when there are no intermissions

Box office opens two hours before curtain time on Monday & Sunday when performances are scheduled on those days of the week, and closes at end of first intermission or thirty minutes after the start of performances when there are no intermissions

Hours are subject to change on holidays

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. Personal checks presented with a driver’s license or state-issued ID can be accepted up to two weeks before a performance

  • There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges for non-members. The SHU Community Theatre is a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit Organization. If you are a ticket holder unable to attend an event, The SHU Community Theatre will accept the tickets back as a tax deductible donation up until the start time of the said ticketed event. Patrons who donate tickets will receive a tax deductible receipt confirming the donation.

    You can become a member which allows you to transfer your tickets to a different show or put the ticket amount into a customer credit for future use. Or, you can donate the tickets back to us for a tax deductible receipt. Or, you can simply give your tickets to someone else who would enjoy the show!

  • In the case of inclement weather, should the performance occur, there are no refunds or exchanges.
     
    Should a performance be cancelled, exchanges will be available through the box office.

    Should a show be postponed and/or rescheduled in any circumstance, the original tickets will be good for the rescheduled date or reissued. If you are a ticket holder unable to attend a rescheduled date, there are no refunds; however, exchanges will be available through the box office. 
     

    If you are in possession of your tickets, they must be returned to the box office before an exchange or refund can be considered. while the SHU Community Theatre regrets the inconvenience caused by these circumstances, SHU Community Theatre cannot be held responsible for any cost or damage such postponement or cancellation may incur. We will also accept the tickets back as a tax deductible donation.
     
    All requests for refunds will be handled on a case by case basis.

  • Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. For information and reservations, call our box office at (203) 371-7817.

  • For the Family shows, a child 2 years and younger may be admitted without a ticket; so long as the child occupies the same seat as a ticket holder. For all other performances, persons without tickets will not be allowed to enter the theatre.

  • The SHU Community Theatre assumes zero liability for any tickets purchased through third party ticket re-selling websites, and holds no responsibility for any form of refund or reimbursement. If you are seeking a refund for any tickets purchased through a third party, please contact your original point of purchase or your bank/ credit card company. We can provide confirmation of a show’s status if need be for a bank or credit card company to issue compensation.
