Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a baby and raised among Santa's elves, despite being completely human. When he learns the truth about his origins, Buddy travels to New York City to find his biological father. His overwhelming enthusiasm, childlike innocence, and complete belief in Christmas quickly clash with the cynical adult world around him. As Buddy attempts to reconnect with his family, he brings his unique holiday spirit to everyone he encounters. Along the way, he discovers that being part of a family is about much more than biology—and that even adults sometimes need to rediscover the magic of Christmas.
